Access - Stage Coach Crossing - connecting Reay Road South to Stage Coach road over Beaver Creek through Beaver Creek Estates sub-division
Plans for a new crossing over Beaver Creek were developed by Dubroy Engineering in 2009 at a cost of nearly $20,000. The developer / owners of the property - Beaver Creek Estates LLC, entered into agreement with BCV-POA to cover the construction at a cost of $98,000.00 and an annual maintenance agreement.
Yavapai County denied a County road access permit necessary to connect the crossing to the County maintained roadway - Stagecoach Rd. The County request for a Lower McGuireville traffic impact study on Stagecoach connecting to Beaver Creek Estates Rd - then onto Montezuma Castle Highway leading to either Montezuma Castle National Monument or Middle Verde Rd of Camp Verde placed severe restrictions on the project. Additionally, County requirement of meeting sub-division standards for private roadways connecting to County roads is in dispute and of great concern.
